It's been a minute since our last post so this one might be kind of long. *oops*
But we haven't been slacking, we've been working behind the scenes on new product ideas and designs, some of which we have released in the last week.
There's so much creative ideas churning at the Kende HQ.
We just want to show y'all everything at once but over time you will see the fruits of our labour ;)
This past week has been quite exciting.
Firstly, we managed to get our phone cases to the lovely CEO dancers.
For our international readers or those who may not know who they are, they were making big waves earlier this year on Saturday night TV show Britain's got Talent!

Also we were invited by Making It Big Events to a networking seminar named Making It Big In Fashion at the Google Campus here in London where we got to sell our products directly to the public for the first time.
Initially the thought of selling and dealing with potential customers in this capacity was nerve racking and daunting as we didn't know what to expect but seeing how people reacted to our products and the genuine support we got gave us a new level of encouragement and energy to really push forward to build this brand into something big.
But the highlight of the evening were the speakers that came to share their experiences and insight into the work they do and how they got into the world of fashion.
To go into the details of the night would be a long read but in a nutshell there were speakers from PR companies, big brand clothing design companies plus more.
The running theme/piece of advice that they all mentioned was just taking your dream or idea and pushing it forward, don't hold yourself back or allow anything to deter you from perusing your dream.
And to be honest this has been our motto from before we launched Kende.
No one knew who we were, we even made it a point not to tell friends and family about our venture.
We just launched and started to build our customer base from nothing, we actually got our first customer after a week and it was a international sale.
In a separate post we will go into more detail about how we started and our experiences along the way thus far.
All in all we had a great time meeting and networking with other up and coming brands plus more established brands and individuals that work for big brands.
Ohh and no big egos, just great, encouraging humble people!! :D
NEW STUFF!!
We finally launched our line of handmade jewellery from Ghana.
So if you haven't seen them already, go have a look on the Kende website. Perhaps make a purchase or two too!! ;)
And lastly, we also launched our first collection of stationary cards starting of with birthday cards.
There are five brilliant designs to choose from at the moment with more on the way as well as other themes to suit all occasions.
Now we're finally up to date with all things Kende and we will endeavour to keep y'all updated much more regularly.
